  4. Keep up this blog through ISB and into your job… you are assured of atleast one reader (me.. who else)….

Can you just increase your font just a little bit… its easier on weaker eyes like mine?

  5. I am absolutely desperate to get into ISB. Please tell me if you think I hold any chance of getting accepted. I did my undergrad from Rutgers Business School, Rutgers University, NJ in MIS. I currently work for an Investment bank in New York and would have 1.5 years of work experience when I apply to ISB in fall 2005. I hold leadership positions in several networks at work, raising money for Indian NGOs etc.I got only a 660 in my GMAT. Please, please give me your opinion on if you think I can get in or not.

  6. Hi Radhi,

You have a wonderful profile. Your graduation and work experience is strong. GMAT is only one of the criteria and will be weighed little if your work experience speaks for itself. Having said that, if possible you can rewrite GMAT and enhance your score little bit…But I feel you have a strong chance for admission…Definitely apply…If you need any help, don’t hesitate to drop me an email..at bharani@gmail.com

  9. Very cool! I can help you to improve blog. Here is one idea. Add a “Blink it” button to your posts so that users can quickly save and contribute your best posts to BlinkList. http://about.blinklist.com/category/4b-post-to-blinklist/

Ok, that was blatant self promotion so I am sorry. If you like the site that would be great. I think your blog already looks very good. I especially love the pic of the statue! I share the same belief and have never seen this statue before. Very cool!

  10. Barani,
I share some common stuff with you apart from city of birth and lang . My colony also has almost the same age as mine! Funny indeed. Am into the Co 2007 in ISB. Just wondering why ISB has this policy of not disclosing any numbers about its placements. IIMs and all other B-schools worth their salt don’t have any qualms about it. Why is ISB different? Though I understand that placing an experienced crowd is different from placing junta in IIMs, 25-30 seems a staggering number (unless the reason is that they are looking for niche positions and not that they got dinged). Enlighten please. You can reply to my mail-id @ leisure.

    Cheers
