Recommendation Letter.

I created a Recommendation letter template with all the questions from all the colleges that I am applying for. Unfortunately, I overlooked some questions. Well, what does this mean? It means that I had to go back to my ever-busy project managers and clients and ask them to provide the answers to missing questions. They had already expressed that they are finding it difficult to answer the questions, more difficult than university examinations :-) . I had no other option but to pursuade them.

After series of reminders, one of my recommenders completed the template. Another recommender was in the verge of exploding, so I had some cooling off sessions explaining the importance of their act in my life! ;-) Now the recommender is progressing well. Hopefull Recommendations will be ready next week.

ISB Essays.

Not satisfied with some essays and sentence structuring, I recreated some content afresh. Now, all 6 essays look decent. Word counts are within limit, except for one essay. The critical assessment essay currently has 680 words. Need to condense it.

But I find the word limit amusing because the company name can easily take up 3-4 words. Would they be treated as one? And there are some light-weight words like “I”, “is,was,to,for” etc., which are necessary evil but still take up space. I think average word length of 8 characters per word is acceptable. Going by that standards, I think 600*8 = 4800 characters should be the limit. Or, your essay should fit in one page with 11 point font. Anyways, one needs to play the games by the rule..So I am planning to avoid the light-weight words as much as possible and create a hyper-condensed essay. Let me see how better is my precise writing skills!!
